In order to try to get the most accurate individual numbers for a candidate we must look for a string of days where that candidates numbers remain consistent to make our best guess. That occurred 8/18 through 8/22 in the Gallup Poll and 8/9 through 8/13 for the Rasmussen poll. Once we have established our best guess numbers during those time frames, we are able to extrapolate those individual numbers forward.
